A Journey Through the Bible: 25 of our Favorite Bible Stories

  Book Cover

The newspaper headlines today, might read, “A new world is created” or “Humans inhabit the earth” or even, “A Savior is born to help all of mankind.” No matter what the headlines might or could have been, each of these events and the many others outlined in this book are exceptional and meant to provide every one of us, no matter what religion you are with a better understanding of “Why” we are here to begin with. Of all of the headlines a person could come up with, arguably, the most important would have had something to do with the Resurrection of Jesus Christ for which most of the world celebrates “Easter.” While Christmas seems to be more popular, especially if you own a gift store, the Resurrection of Christ is by far the most important single event that has ever taken place on this Earth. As you read through the stories in this book, please remember that some are parables used to teach us how to live and treat those around us, while others are actual events in history in which our Heavenly Father or Jesus Christ has tried to teach us a lesson. Unfortunately, we have not always followed Their counsel. Let this book be part of that counsel. Read and re-read these short stories for not only your enlightenment, but also to help teach those young minds who follow in your footsteps. Remember, we will be relying on them someday to care for us. Let us pray they make the correct decisions as they grow into the people our Heavenly Father wants them to be. This book is a Christian-based reference book that delves into some of the most profound and influential narratives found in the Bible. It is designed to be a valuable resource for individuals, families, churches, and study groups for those seeking a basic understanding of key biblical stories and their significance in the Christian faith.
